A few of my favorite bloggers have done posts like this, where readers get to peek inside their bags (either purse, makeup bag, gym bag, etc.) I’m not sure that the contents of my bag are all that adventurous, but I love reading other posts like this, so it’s fair to assume that someone will want to know about my bag too.
Usually, my purse is filled with lots of random things- receipts, gum wrappers, old grocery lists- you name it. Fortunately for the sake of this post, my current handbag is relatively new, so it hasn’t had much time to get too cluttered. Yet.
I like this bag because it has so many compartments and zippers. It helps to feel organized. There’s also a perfect iPhone-sized pocket on the inside, so I never have to dig around for my phone. As every girl knows, the one time you can never find your phone in your purse is when it is ringing.
Speaking of my phone, since I was using it to take these pictures, I wasn’t able to get a picture of my new adorable case. Which is this:
I have such iPhone case A.D.D. and constantly feel the need to swap out for a new one. I got this adorable Vera Bradley case at the Paper Store, one of my favorite places to shop. It is impossible to leave that place empty handed!
At any rate, back to my bag:
I’m pretty proud of the fact that these are the ONLY contents inside my bag right now. You would be surprised as to how chaotic the inside of my pocketbook can get! Of course I am reppin’ Boston University on my keychain lanyard, and that would be a classy bottle of spritzer from CVS in the background. Also, my favorite pens: the colored Flair pen/markers. Love ‘em.
These are my two current favorite lip products- baby pink lip color by Sephora and the Shiny Kiss lip gloss by Victoria’s Secret in Strawberry Fizz. I have phases with lip color- sometimes I’m really into light pink colors, sometime more of a plum/berry, and then there will be months at a time where I will only wear clear.
My most used card in my wallet is probably my Starbucks Gold Card. I should kick this Starbucks drive-through habit and make more coffee at work, but I am too addicted to the Vanilla Blonde. I had a free drink today, so I went all out and added an extra shot of espresso. Living on the edge.

I love that Vera Bradley print. I have gloves, a scarf, and a headband in it! I really need to get a Starbucks gold card. Bad. I have like 10 lip glosses in my purse….haha
Lip glosses are essential! Sometimes I wish I had more to choose from in my bag.

Totally with you. I have such a receipt hoarding problem. In my bag, in my car, in coat pockets…I don’t know what my deal is!

You are so cute and stylish! I am currently and almost always carrying my big Vera bag. My friends make fun of me and call it my diaper bag, haha. If I want to switch to something smaller, I have a Kate Spade that seems to be my go-to purse.
