I am all about trying new things – from something as simple as a new flavor of yogurt to something as big as an impromptu trip or an “out-of-my-comfort-zone” outdoor activity. Regardless of what it is, I think it’s important to branch out and be able to say, “Hey! I tried something different today!”
So, in that spirit…
I love telling people that I’m going to the Blend Retreat in Utah in May, because it is something totally out the ordinary, not to mention a part of the country that I’ve never been to! I was explaining it to some of my co-workers and they seemed impressed. I am so excited to spend time with my future sister-in-law Kate and meet our blogger roomies Ashley and Sara, not to mention all the other great ladies that are on the registration list!
On a much more trivial note, I recently tried a new cracker and I feel like I need to tell the world about it. Seriously, it is amazing. All kinds of amazing.
Um, hello, best ingredients ever! I can see how this is going to get addicting very quickly.
I love how there are actual little pieces of sweet potato in the cracker. I haven’t tried them with any toppings yet but I bet they’d be so good with hummus or a bit of low-fat cheese or even salsa. I already ate dinner but now I am hungry again just typing this.
On a totally different note, but also in keeping with the “new” theme, I recently bought a pair of nude heels after hunting for just the “right” pair for months.
Totally in (shoe) love. I would wear these every day if it were appropriate. (Also, those are new black skinny jeans – BCBG brand, found at TJMaxx. I don’t mess around.)
